Welcome to Sweardle, the game of guessing swear words. Sweardle is a guessing game with four letters that is more difficult than the original Wordle. It is a simple pastime that has gone viral because of its simplicity and the fact that you only have four attempts per day to solve its Sweardle challenge.

How to play

After finishing the day's game, Sweardle allows players to start a new one. Guess the Sweardle in four attempts. Each attempt must be a valid four-letter word. The color of the letters changes after each tries to indicate how close you are to hitting the word.

• Green to indicate that it is the correct letter in the correct location,
• Yellow to indicate that it is present in the word but not in that location.
• Gey to indicate that it does not appear in the word.

• The first rule of Sweardle is to enter an optimal first try. An effective first attempt includes between 2 and 3 vowels (to discard as many as possible) and some of the most commonly used consonants, such as L, and T.
• Create as many clues as possible so that you can solve the challenge in the four remaining attempts.
• Play in incognito mode for endless chances to guess the word.
